Evolution Workplace Solutions is an independent, expert provider of workplace rehabilitation, injury management and injury prevention solutions. We are a leading provider of workplace solutions in Western Australia, recognised by our clients, customers and industry partners for our quality of service, expertise and results.

 

Evolution is an accredited workplace rehabilitation provider with Workcover WA and Comcare. We are active members of our industry body, the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA).

Evolution was founded by Michelle Butler and Andrew Rowcroft, both allied health professionals with a combined professional experience of more than 40 years. This experience spans a broad range of industries, and they’ve worked across Australia and overseas. In forming Evolution, Michelle and Andrew see an opportunity to deliver independent, high quality solutions that meet the unique needs of their customers and clients.

OUR DIRECTORS

ANDREW ROWCROFT

BSc (Occupational Therapy)

Director

Andrew is an Occupational Therapist who has practiced in Australia and the United Kingdom, in the areas of workplace rehabilitation, risk prevention, absence and injury management services. Andrew understands the needs of his clients and customers, and he’s skilled at facilitating cost effective return to work solutions that are creative and strategic. Andrew is experienced in the management of complex claims, and has worked extensively with individuals with multiple physical and psychological injuries. He has worked across a range of industries, including aviation, hospitality, retail, health, mining, construction, and the Commonwealth and State Public Service.

 

Andrew is passionate about leading and delivering positive change in the workers’ compensation and workplace rehabilitation industry in WA. He enjoys the opportunity to influence a future generation of allied health professionals who understand not just the health benefits of good work, but the value of good quality rehabilitation outcomes to the injured worker, businesses and our community. Andrew has been a lecturer and tutor in occupational therapy (occupational rehabilitation) within the School of Medical and Health Science at Edith Cowan University, and is actively involved in ARPA WA as Treasurer and committee member.

MICHELLE BUTLER

BSc (Physiotherapy), GAICD

Director

 

Michelle is a Physiotherapist with significant experience in the delivery of workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention services, in WA and across Australia. Michelle enjoys educating stakeholders and the community more broadly on the health benefits of good work, and this is enhanced by her experience as a senior manager. Michelle understands the drivers of business, and expertly couples this with a strategic approach, advanced communication skills and health background to facilitate safe, sustainable and cost effective return to work outcomes. Michelle has experience across a broad range of industries including health, disability, aged care, transport, mining, manufacturing, education and the public sector.

 

Michelle is passionate about the workplace rehabilitation industry in Australia, and has been a strong advocate for change through her work with the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) – our industry body. Michelle was President of ARPA WA for 5 years, and during this time has lead the charge to improve quality and outcomes across the workers’ compensation industry, through enhancing professional development opportunities; better stakeholder collaboration and lobbying; and establishing an industry-wide focus on quality with the introduction of the ARPA WA Excellence in Workplace Rehabilitation Awards.

OUR TEAM

The Evolution team are experienced and creative allied health professionals, who are passionate about the value and health benefits of good work. Our team are all registered with the relevant governing bodies, and engage in regular professional development activities to ensure their practice is market leading and evidence based.

Our team are focused on achieving a safe and sustainable return to work for the individual, and work collaboratively with them, their employer, insurer, doctor and treatment providers to achieve this. Our team’s approach to complex problems is strategic and creative, and we pride ourselves on our results.
